Timothy Van Dyke writes Fantasy fiction, as well as Nature, and Nautical Poetry. He developed a love of fantasy roll playing games and so he created the World of Mythor and has spent over 20 years improving the details, richness, and history of this Fantasy world.

He is currently a Licensed Chief Marine Engineer and he sails on Research Vessels traveling all around the world. He developed his love of traveling the world while he served in the USMC, and Army.

Tim himself is an avid Science and Fantasy Fiction reader. He discovered writing and his love of books in the 6th grade and studied Commercial and Advertising Art at The Seattle Art Institute between branches of service.

When Tim left the military he spent many years working in all areas of the housing industry in the Great Northwest. Eventually when his children were old enough he again returned to traveling the seas. This is his first published book on the World of Mythor.

Tim’s Brother Russell is also a writer and has just recently published his first Novel. Tim lives in Washington and currently splits time between his job at sea, his family, fishing, writing, and traveling in his RV enjoying this great country.
